26 Weeks

Baby girl has been kicking sooo much lately!
Sunday is Todds only day off and she LOVES him!
Usually it's quiet when I'm home by myself all day,
and she will move a little here and there.
But on Sundays its a nonstop kick, somersault, jab, & poke.

I think she knows it's our last week here
and is sooo excited like I am!
Here is a list of the top 10 reasons I am excited to go home.

1. NO BUGS!!
2. I get to sleep in a comfortable King size bed!
3. I will have a car and be able to get out and get things done
instead of feeling trapped in a tiny apartment!
4. Close to family and friends.
5. I will actually get to see Todd more than 3 hrs a day.
6. We get to start shopping for the baby and setting up the nursery.
7. I will be able to go to a NORMAL Doctor!
8. I will feel safe when we go on our nightly walks.
9. We get to go up to the cabin and football starts!
10. The summer is over... BABY Girl is coming in 3 months!

What is amazing is that I entered 1 day and received the Gift card 2 days later! Just in time to get some new pants for my Nauvoo trip! I will have to post some pics later of what I picked up.

4th of July in Washington DC

The fireworks were awesome!
They had some cool shapes and designs I hadn't seen before.
The fireworks were launched above the Capital,
Washington Memorial, and Lincolns memorial.

We waited for 4 hours to see the fireworks with awesome friends!

Week 17

I swear time has flown by!
In 2 weeks we get to find out what we're having!
I still haven't felt it move, but it's getting harder to find a
comfortable position to sleep. Esp. because I'm not a side sleeper.
I feel so bad for Todd. I try not to wake him up with my
nightly (2-3 times a night) bathroom trips.
Things are great out here in VA!

Washington DC Adventures

We decided to take the Metro (train) down to DC.
It was the best idea ever! We didn't have to
deal with traffic and parking! Plus it was fun!

Jefferson Memorial.

It was sooo HOT, so we made it a quick trip.

Abraham Lincolns Hat

These are the actual Ruby Red Slippers worn by Dorthy
in the Wizard of Oz!

It was so neat to see the actual copy of The
Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, and The Bill of Rights.
The pictures didn't turn out the best due to no flash photography.

The National Air and Space museum was fun to look at.
We got to see the 1st airplane built by the Wright brothers.
